Maria R. Weber, registered dietitian and certified fitness professional founded ACTIVE NUTRITION in 2003.

THE VISION of Active Nutrition is to be recognized and respected as a credible provider of nutrition and fitness services in Western New York. Because of the unique focus on not only nutrition, but also fitness and behavior change, the programs and services offered through Active Nutrition will empower clients with the information and tools necessary to change their own lifestyle habits to improve their health and decrease their risk of disease to produce lasting results toward the goal of sustainable lifestyle change.

Jenn received her B.S./M.S in Dietetics from D'Youville College in Buffalo and has been employed by Sisters of Charity Hospital since 2004. She is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist, a Certified Diabetes Educator and a Certified LIFESTEPS® leader. Jennifer teaches diabetes self management education classes, LIFESTEPS® Weight Management classes and provides one on one nutrition therapy as the Outpatient Dietitian at the Piver Center for Women's Health and Wellness. Jennifer is enthusiastic about her job and is highly motivated when it comes to helping her patients reach their nutrition goals.
